Polar Bear Express & Santa?s Trolley at Rockhill
Enjoy a magical ride through decorated Christmas wonderlands and holiday fun on the historic trolleys! Ride the trolley in the evening to gaze at the decorations and lights along the way. When the trolley arrives at the deocrated Winter Wonderland, you can enjoy Christmas cookies and hot chocolate as you explore it on foot.The standard gauge, antique trolleys will take you through the lights along the way on the Shade Gap Branch of the East Broad Top Railroad. Even the old Rockhill Iron Furnace will be included in the light show. Going towards the Blacklog Narrows the trolleys will stop at Altoff Siding where passengers can get off, enjoy a nice warm campfire and receive a free hot chocolate and cookies. Come dressed for the season! The Rockhill Trolley Museum has their popular Open 1875 Car from Rio de Janeiro, as well as, their other closed and heated cars to choose from. Caroling and story telling are encouraged! The Rockhill Trolley staff are all volunteers from all over the state and country and they love to serve you, so ask questions, join in the conversation, and enjoy the enchanting ride through the lights and the countryside!
